Clifford Chance advised TRIUVA Kapitalverwaltungsgesellschaft mbH (formerly IVG Institutional Funds) on its acquisition of the Shell-Haus in Berlin as part of a share deal. The purchase price amounted to approximately EUR 80 million. The vendor was a subsidiary of Orion European Real Estate Fund IV, C.V., which is sponsored by Orion Capital Managers.
The Shell-Haus has a gross floor area of more than 18,000 square metres. The Institute for Federal Real Estate was the sole tenant since 2012, having leased the building on behalf of the Federal Ministry of Defence.
