Hogan Lovells advised RGRK (Russian Mining Company) on the sale of a 50% stake in a limited liability company "Yaroslavskaya Gornorudnaya Kompaniya", the sole producer and supplier of fluorspar concentrate in Russia, to Hong Kong listed aluminium and alumina UC RUSAL. As a result of the deal, UC RUSAL will strengthen its own resource base as it looks to be self-sufficient in raw materials.
