Linklaters advised Acofi Gestion, a French investment fund manager, member of the La Francaise group (Credit Mutuel Nord Europe group), in relation to the sale of two photovoltaic and wind portfolios, totaling 126 MW in capacity, to Swiss energy companies EOS Holding and Romande Energie France. Acofi closed the sale on behalf of its fund Transition Energetique France. The first portfolio, Groupement Solaire Cestas 2, comprised several ground-mounted solar plants totalling 48MW out of the 300 MW Cestas plant, the largest PV site in France. The second portfolio, ENRTEF 1, with 78MW capacity, comprised a collection of 3 wind farms and a diversified set of PV assets. These assets generated each year 195GWh of green energy, equivalent to the consumption needs of 39,000 households and was to help avoid the emission of 114,700 tonnes of CO2.
