Watson, Farley & Williams (WFW), a leading international law firm, is pleased to announce that it has advised Allianz Capital Partners GmbH, on all legal and tax aspects regarding the acquisition of a German onshore wind farm with a total capacity of 24 MW from the Danish company K/S VindInvest Cottbuser See.
The wind farm, located near Cottbus, Germany, consists of twelve Vestas V90 wind turbines and was commissioned in 2005 and 2006. The acquisition was effected by the purchase of all partnership interest in the project company.
The WFW team was led by partner Dr. Marcus Bechtel (Corporate, Hamburg). He was supported by partner Gerrit Bartsch (Tax, Hamburg) as well as associates Cathrin Browne and Carolin Woggon (both Corporate, Hamburg).
