Ashurst advised the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs in respect of the GBP2.4 billion Thames Tideway Project which was approved in late August 2015. The Thames Tideway is described as London's super sewer and is designed to protect the River Thames from increasing pollution. It will be a 25km tunnel running under the River Thames.
